![]() ![]() It was the time a year she liked to listen to Christmas music, splurge on decorations and spoil everyone with gifts. Nancy was fond of saying to her grandkids, "Here, model this for me, will ya?". She was an avid reader and a serious shopper. While in the evenings reading her books and settling in for the night next to Bill as they watched their shows. Some of her favorite hobbies were checking the news on the "Internet" while drinking her morning coffee. ![]() She was a confidant, a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold and the best at giving and receiving hugs. With so many different personalities and interests in the family, Nancy had a special bond that tied the entire family together. She was their number-one cheerleader and loyal fan. ![]() She thoroughly enjoyed watching and encouraging her grandkids in their extracurricular sports and activities. Everything she did was done with grace and conviction, leaving her memorable to anyone she came in contact with. Nancy was a firecracker who was caring, generous, and confidently opinionated. Nancy obtained her nursing degree from the University of Buffalo and began her long career at Strong Memorial Hospital from where she retired after 40-plus years, ending her career in the Pediatric MRI unit in which she opened. The values that Nancy taught will forever be her legacy as her family will carry those throughout their lives. She leaves behind values of education, hard work, and good old family fun. Nancy Peek was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt, friend, retired nurse and so much more. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Bill children, Laura Jo (Andris) Silins, Jody (Brad) Mosher and Benjamin (Indira) Peek grandchildren, Paige, Hunter and Cole Silins, Luke, Kennedy and Logan Mosher, Kaden and Kinsley Peek many nieces and nephews. ![]()
